Begin your morning with a visit to the local market, where you’ll shop for fresh produce, herbs and spices. Then, head to a family home to prepare a variety of traditional dishes using ingredients from the market and garden. This is more than just a cooking class, it’s a warm, personal insight into Vietnamese family life, hospitality and culture, topped off with a shared meal.
Hoi An is known for its talented tailors. You'll have the option to be fitted for custom-made clothing, whether a new linen outfit, blazer or dress. Your pieces will be ready in just a few days, made to fit and fully personalised.

In the morning, you’ll visit a local market to shop for fresh produce, herbs, and spices with a local who will host your cooking class later in the day. You’ll then head to their family home for a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class, learning to prepare several traditional dishes before sitting down to enjoy your creations for lunch. This morning, you’ll return to the same village school to continue engaging with students in English speaking activities. Having already met the children and teachers, this second visit allows you to deepen those initial connections and feel even more a part of their learning community. You might revisit familiar games or conversations from the previous day, introduce new activities, or simply enjoy the confidence and enthusiasm that comes from a more relaxed setting.
After the school visit, the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You may like to wander through the ancient streets of Hoi An, relax by the pool, explore the boutique shops, or return to your tailor for garment fittings.
